A $100.00 non-refundable registration fee is due when a child is accepted to the daycare or nursery school program. Also, upon acceptance of your child into the daycare program or nursery school program, one week's tuition is due as a security deposit and may be applied as your final payment, providing two weeks' notice in writing has been given to the Center.

Starting November 1st - New Hours 7:00am - 6:00pm

Payment is due on Thursday for the following week. If payment is not made by Friday night, add $15.00 to your payment.

*Children enrolled in school-age care do so following the Canton School District calendar. For full-time students (before/after school or kindergarten) payment is expected for the full thirty-eight weeks that school is in session. The fees may be paid in installments. If there is a teacher's day, half-day or snow day, you will not be charged for the additional hours your child attends daycare. All is covered in the thirty-eight week fee.

**This fee is based on the child being toilet trained.
If not trained, the fee is $245.00 or until one week after child becomes trained.

Each child enrolling at Stepping Stones Educational
Center, Inc. is required to pay a one time $100.00 non-refundable registration fee.

Weeks not covered are: Christmas week, February vacation week and April vacation week. Fees for these weeks will be billed at regular Full-time childcare weekly rates.

NURSERY SCHOOL PROGRAMS SEPTEMBER 2010 TO JUNE 2011


Three-year-old Nursery School Program

The fall semester of the three-year-old nursery school program will start on Tuesday, September 8, 2010 and run until Thursday, December 23, 2010. The program will run on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 to 11:30. The fall semester will consist of approximately 30 sessions.

The spring semester will begin on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 and end on Thursday June 10, 2011 and will consist of approximately 40 sessions. There will be two vacation periods observed within this time period.

The cost for the three-year-old nursery school program is seventeen hundred dollars plus a $100.00 registration fee. Payment will be required in seven installments with an initial payment of $450.00 which includes the registration fee, and then six equal payments of $225.00 due prior to October 1, November 5th, December 3rd, February 4th, March 4th and April 8th.

Four and Five-year-old Nursery School Program

The fall semester of the four and five-year-old morning nursery school program will start on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 and run until Wednesday, December 22, 2010. The progam will run on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning from 9:00 to 11:30. The fall semester will consist of approximately 40 sessions.

The spring semester will begin on Monday January 3 , 2011 and end on Friday June 10th, 2011 and will consist of approximately 60 sessions. There will be two vacation periods observed within this time period. In addition there will be no school on Monday, January 17th, Friday April 1 and Monday, May 30th.

The cost for the four and five-year-old nursery school program is twenty four hundred and twenty five dollars. There is no registration fee if student attended the three year old program; if not, a $100.00 registration fee is due at time of application. Payment will be required in seven installments with an initial payment of $505.00 ($605 if new student) and then six equal payments of $320.00 due prior to October 1st, November 5th, December 3rd, February 4th, March 4th and April 8th.

Pre-Kindergarten Program

This program is designed for children who will be five by December 31st, but have decided to wait one more year before entering kindergarten. This will be a traditional pre-kindergarten program: however, our focus will be on activities in science. We feel this approach will lend itself to the development of the whole child. Activities will be selected that will stretch children’s thinking and observational skills.

This program will run Tuesday through Friday afternoons from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. The fall semester will begin on Tuesday September 7, 2010 and run until Thursday, December 23, 2010. The spring semester begins on Tuesday January 4 , 2011 and ends on Friday June 10th, 2011. There are approximately 140 sessions with three vacation breaks.

The cost of the program is Thirty six hundred dollars.There is no registration fee if student attended the four year old program; if not, a $100.00 registration fee is due at time of application. Payment will be required in eight installments with an initial payment of $520.00 ($620 if new student) due at time of registration and then seven equal payments of $440.00 due prior to October 1st, November 5th, December 3rd, February 4th, March 4th, April 8th and May 6th.
