The over-riding objective of the Stepping Stones Daycare/Nursery School Program is to provide youngsters with an environment that will express love and happiness and allow children the opportunity to be children. We occupy a two story, five thousand square foot, air-conditioned facility on four and one-half acres. The first floor is devoted to pre-school children while the second floor is equipped for school age children. |
| We have an indoor play area with various toys , as well as an art area with not only traditional materials but with water tables and sand tables for creative play and experimentation. Children are encouraged to explore their creative abilities through participation in story time,art projects, games and interactive activities such as skits and plays. |  |
| In the rear of the building we have a fenced 10,000 square foot playground with climbers, swings, sandboxes, slides and a small field for playing ball. We have also added a Pirate ship for imaginative play. We have set up a riding area, basketball hoop, hopscotch and four square in a chained off area of our parking lot. |  |
| We have 15 Apple Macintosh computers accessible to schoolage children for word processing and homework projects. Classes are also available at various times throughout the year. Check the Special Programs section. |  |
